WordPress plugin setup
After installing this GeoBooster WordPress plugin, go to WordPress Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> GeoBooster.
Specify the Google Maps API Key (click here if you need instructions for creating a Google Maps API key) it is required if you want to display maps showing the geographical area where moments were created.
Specify the platform you use for GeoBooster, choose localbrandmanager.com
Go to GeoBooster, choose your business, proceed to the “Settings” page, copy the content of the “Public token” field, return to WordPress GeoBooster Settings, and paste it into the “GeoBooster API Key” field.
If you want to connect several businesses to the same WordPress site, click the “Add key” button, then copy the token for the new business from the GeoBooster and paste it into the newly added field.
In the end, you will get something like this:
Click the “Save Changes” button
Click the “Sync” button if you have some approved moments on the GeoBooster side to fetch them to WP.
WordPress setup is done. It’s time to tweak some settings on the GeoBooster side, don’t close the “Settings” page in WordPress, you will need it!
GeoBooster business setup
Copy the “Webhook” URL from the WordPress Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> GeoBooster page, then return to GeoBooster, choose your business, open the “Settings” page, and paste it into the “Add WordPress webhook” field
Copy the “Webhook bearer token” from the WordPress Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> GeoBooster page, then go to the GeoBooster Business Settings page and paste it into the “Add bearer token for WordPress” field. You will get something like this:
Click the “Update” button.
Repeat the procedure for every business you want to display moments on the WordPress side.
